Since the establishment of the then Asante Akim South District Assembly, it has been inaugurated 8 times with this current inaugural ceremony marking its 9th edition. The program was held on Tuesday, 12th February, 2024. During the event, all elected and government appointed Assembly members were duly sworn into office.
