The maiden edition of the best teacher awards was instituted during the 66th Independence day celebrations. The initiative is help motivate the already hardworking teachers in the Asante Akim Municipality to go the extra in their service delivery as stated by Hon. Alexander Frimpong (MCE) when addressing the crowd gathered at the event.
