The Asante Akim South Municipal Health Directorate successfully observed the National COVID-19 Vaccination Days from July 3rd to 7th, 2024. The campaign focused on increasing community protection through house-to-house and outreach vaccinations. Despite minor challenges with misinformation, the exercise saw significant turnout, particularly among vulnerable groups, reinforcing the government’s resolve to prevent future outbreaks and promote public health.

The Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly has completed its LEAP payment exercise, providing cash grants to the elderly, PWDs, and low-income households.
