The Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly, under the leadership of the Municipal Chief Executive - Hon. Maame Sarfoah Appiah, has embarked on a comprehensive tour to distribute essential educational materials to schools across the municipality. The initiative, aimed at enhancing the learning environment and easing the financial burden on parents, saw the MCE personally visiting Gyankobaa M/A Primary, Apragya M/A Primary, and Nyarkoma M/A Primary to interact with pupils and teachers. The distribution exercise provided a significant boost to the academic resources of the pupils. Over 100 primary school children received a variety of basic school materials, including exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and mathematical sets. The initiative is part of the Assembly’s broader strategy to support the government’s commitment to quality and accessible education for all.
