The National Green Ghana Day was commemorated in the Asante Akim South Municipality on Friday, 9th June, 2023.

The management of the Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly met with caterers enrolled with the school feeding program in the municipality to discuss ways of making the program a success.

The executive committee of the Asante Akim South Municipal Assembly held its meeting to quarterly meeting to deliberate on issues pertaining to the various subcommittees.

The maiden edition of the best teacher awards was instituted during the 66th Independence day celebrations.
